Debra Larkin is the Executive Director of PEARL Promise, bringing leadership experience within the organization and a deep passion for serving single-parent families. After joining the Board of Directors in 2023 and serving in multiple leadership roles, she became Executive Director in January 2026, helping strengthen the organization’s strategy, operations, and community impact.

With more than 28 years of experience in high-tech marketing, global team leadership, business strategy, and operations management, Debra brings expertise in strategic development, branding, and organizational leadership.

As a former single parent, Debra combines professional expertise with lived experience and a faith-rooted commitment to helping families build stronger futures. She is the proud mom of three sons, including identical twins, and six grandchildren.

Nicole Hirai serves as Development Director at Pearl Promise. A founding member of the organization, Nicole played a key role in shaping Pearl Promise’s early vision and mission, and her passion for serving single-parent families has remained constant ever since.

Nicole brings experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, donor and church partnerships, and ministry. She is deeply committed to building meaningful relationships that strengthen Pearl Promise’s impact and sustainability.

As Client Engagement Manager, Kay combines heartfelt compassion with an “all business” approach for single moms in the FOCUS PEARLS program. With over 30 years of experience in “work worth doing” at Intrado Public Safety and Longmont United Hospital, Kay is dedicated to helping our clients realize their full potential, step-by-step, in a positive, caring environment.

Alicia Price has been a valued part of the Pearl Promise team since 2023, serving as Transportation Coordinator. A former Focus Pearl mom herself, Alicia brings both personal experience and deep compassion to her role supporting single-parent families. With a background in public safety and community care, she plays a vital role in helping families with automotive maintenance, repairs, and reliable transportation solutions. Alicia leads Pearl Promise’s Car Care Clinic, coordinates vehicle repair projects, and helps facilitate vehicle donations for single parents in need. Her passion for serving others and firsthand understanding of the challenges families face make her an inspiring advocate for helping families keep “wheels up” while lifting spirits up along the way.. transportation@pearlpromise.org

With 8+ years in office management and nonprofit operations, LaRae ensures smooth day-to-day systems and supports Pearl Promise through her expertise in administration, reporting, and community engagement. She previously served as Office Manager at Faith Community Lutheran Church in Longmont, where she oversaw donor records, managed events, coordinated community assistance programs, and led the Kids Hope mentoring program for more than a decade. LaRae holds a B.S. in MIS/Accounting and a Paralegal Certificate. Her professionalism, compassion, and heart for service make her a valued part of the Pearl Promise team. accounting@pearlpromise.org

Melissa Frick serves as Pearl Promise’s Mentor Program Coordinator, where she is passionate about building meaningful mentor-mentee relationships that foster growth, connection, and confidence in youth. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Melissa is dedicated to empowering children and teens with the tools to advocate for themselves and build healthy, fulfilling futures. Formerly Pearl Promise’s Executive Director, she is excited to return in this new role and combine her professional counseling background with the real-world experience of parenting two teenagers to help grow and strengthen the mentoring program.  melissa@pearlpromise.org
