Every young person deserves someone who listens, recognizes their strengths, and believes in their future.
Pearl Youth supports youth ages 6–17 from single-parent families through caring relationships and opportunities to learn and grow. Our Christian mentors walk alongside young people as they build confidence, develop friendships, and discover their God-given gifts.
Support for Your Young Person
Raising a family takes a community. A mentor can offer another trusted source of encouragement as your young person navigates school, friendships, and everyday challenges.
We take time to learn about your family and explore which opportunities may be a good fit. Our goal is to work alongside you as your young person grows.
Safety Comes First
Every mentor is screened, background-checked, fingerprinted, and trained. Parents are included in all communication between mentors and their child, and any outing outside regular meetings requires parent permission.

One-to-One Mentoring
We carefully match your child with an adult mentor who fits them, and that relationship grows over time. Mentors meet with your child weekly for at least one school year. They follow your child’s lead, help with homework and school skills, and serve as a positive role model and trusted adult. Many matches last for years. If a match isn’t the right fit, we’ll work to find a new mentor.
Teen Girls Group
Every Tuesday night, Pearl Promise’s Teen Girls Group brings young women together to build friendships, grow in their relationship with God, and find a safe place to share their hearts. Through encouragement, faith, and meaningful conversations, each girl is reminded that she is valued, loved, and never alone. Along the way, the girls also learn practical life skills that help them build confidence, make healthy decisions, navigate everyday challenges, and prepare for a successful future. Our mentors feel called by God to walk alongside these young women, helping them discover their strengths, embrace their purpose, develop essential life skills, and look toward a brighter future with hope.

Mentoring is the heart of Pearl youth, but we know youth in single-parent families need support in many areas of life. Throughout the year, we also offer:
✔ Scholarships: Financial support to help Pearl youth access opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
✔ Tutoring: Extra academic help for youth who need support to keep up or get ahead in school.
✔ Holiday gifts: Making sure every child has gifts to open and their parent has one less worry during the holidays.
✔ Special events: Fun and practical events throughout the year, like our free back-to-school haircut day, that help youth feel confident and cared for.
Every gift, scholarship, and special event sends youth the same message our mentors do: you matter, and people believe in you.
