As we prepare for Giving Tuesday tomorrow, we wanted to share a heartwarming moment from our Kids Mentoring Program that beautifully reflects the spirit of generosity we hope to inspire.

Last week, our mentors and mentees spent the evening assembling Operation Christmas Child boxes together. The room was filled with excitement as the kids thoughtfully selected items, packed each box with care, and talked about what it means to give to someone they may never meet.

One mentor–mentee pair even went shopping together beforehand, choosing each item with intention and joy. Moments like these remind us that generosity is taught, modeled, and most importantly, caught through shared experiences.

When the boxes were finished, our group joined hands and prayed over every one—asking that each child who receives a box feels loved, valued, and remembered. It was a powerful reminder that giving connects us, shapes us, and helps us grow.
